The cherished family cabin located near Big Bear Lake and local Ski Resorts had a three-story deck that over the years started to decay from the harsh winter weather over time.  The condition of the deck required it to be demolished from fear of collapse, however, since the home was 3-stories the building codes required that it be replaced to allow for egress from the 3rd floor in case of emergencies.  The new deck design incorporated many of the style elements typical of neighborhood deck designs and allowed the home to again enjoy the outdoors from multiple levels and with the comfort of safety in mind.  Currently under construction.
